First of all, what is a webinar?
Quite simply, the term ' webinar ' is constructed from the words 'web' and 'seminar', so it is an interactive, seminar-like meeting via the Internet.
The principle is simple, the organiser sets up a meeting and informs the people who want to participate, webinars are generally done by registration. Everything is done remotely, on a computer, the organiser activates his camera or shares his screen and the participants watch live and can interact.
The characteristics of webinars
Firstly, the particularity of this type of seminar is, of course, that it is online. Moreover, the webinar remains a very good way to communicate, exchange and interact.
This makes it possible to use many tools, both for the organisers and for the participants.

The benefits of an online seminar
In view of the health situation, getting together becomes very difficult. However, it is very important to keep in touch with colleagues, but also with clients, partners, etc.
The main advantage of the webinar is therefore the possibility of communicating at a distance.
However, there are other advantages:
- Save on travel costs, catering, accommodation, etc.
- Reach a wider audience: no limited number of participants,
- You don't need much equipment: a computer, a camera, the Internet and an application and you're done!
- Exchange information simply, during and after the webinar.
For the participants, too, there are benefits:
- Register easily and quickly (registration is very often free),
- Participate in the webinar anonymously,
- Be able to interact with the organiser in real time.
Software for making a webinar
Indeed, there are many tools to make webinars. There are Zoom, Livestorm, ClickMeeting and EverWebinar. All of them allow you to conduct online seminars, at different prices, and generally with the same features.
At Symalean, we have been involved in webinars, particularly in Italy, but we are also starting to do so in France.
To do this, we use Go To Webinar software. All we have to do is schedule our webinar and send the registration link to participants. You can then find each webinar on the site.

Symalean makes every effort to keep communication interactive. Explanatory videos, but also podcasts. Every week, you can find a podcast on our social networks, produced by a member of our team. You can also find them on our "Media" page.
